The recent update has caused many issues with the boxed player on my environment. It has changed the player colors CSS (regenerating elementor CSS assets did not resolve this); stripped all thumbnails from the track listings and deactivated the scroll function.

Will this be resolved in a future update?

It was. I re-installed a backup and updated again and it seems to be working as expected now.
