Errors importing RSS Feed

Following the installation instructions, I set up my first MP3 Audio Player.  The import successfully retrieved my latest podcast from Libsyn, but encountered an error on the next nine.  The error read, "No enclosure tag found on [Episode Name]".

I have just under 400 podcasts registered with Libsyn, however, the plugin stopped after 10 podcasts.  Only 1 podcast was imported.  Nine had the 'no enclosure' error and the rest did not show up.

    Can you advise?

    Hi,

If you check your RSS feed in more detail, you will see that only 1 episode contains enclosure tags that specify where the audio URL is located. See screenshot https://drops.sonaar.io/i/e5g5RW

Without any audio URL, we obviously can't play the episode because we don't know where to stream the audio file from.

Do you know if there is a specific reason why your 9 episodes don't contain an enclosure tag? Perhaps contact Libsyn to know why the enclosure tags are not showing up for 9 of your episode in the feed.

    Thanks,

Thanks Max.  I had the wrong feed, and Libsyn support was able to resolve the problem.  Now I have two additional questions.

    1) I want to create a filterable audio player, like the Example 077 at the following link.  Is there a quick guide to set this up?   https://sonaar.io/mp3-audio-player-pro/music-player-for-wordpress/examples/?srp_player_id=player077&srp_meta=mood%3ASpiritual%3Binstruments%3AAcoustic%20Guitar%2CBanjo%3B

    2) Then just to confirm, to create the playlist used in the filterable audio player, I would create a new playlist and insert my RSS feed into the External Audio Track link Track #1?   Or is there another place to put the RSS feed?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

The filter and search features are available with our business plan. You can upgrade your plan here https://sonaar.io/cart/?nocache=true&edd_action=sl_license_upgrade&license_id=10376&upgrade_id=4

To setup the filters and search like the example, please watch this video.. It also apply to podcast even if the video is more about creating filters for a beatstore player.

    2) you must import your episodes first. See this documentation : https://sonaar.io/docs/setup-your-first-podcast-player/

    Hi Max -

I upgraded to the business plan.

When trying to import my episodes, I encountered the following error:

         Import Podcast RSS

Fetching the external feed and parsing it...

          Import podcast settings...

          No color

I've tried deactivating and reactivating, deleting and reinstalling the plugin and retrying the import and I get the same error message.  Unfortunately, importing my episodes was not the first thing that I did.  I created a demonstration audio player with three podcasts initially.  I don't know if that creates a problem.

I'm using a staging site to work on the plug-in.  Funny thing is that on my live site, I was able to import the episodes, but I wasn't able to create any playlists.  So it's gotten confusing.

Is there a way to reinitialize the plug-in so I can start the whole process from scratch?

    Thanks.

    Randy

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay, we dont usually works on weekends.

Im checking your site but I cant login. Looks like you have not enough memory on your Wordpress. Please contact your hosting provide to add more memory.

Send them this error and they will know what to do:

    Hi Max.

I increased the memory limit in the wp-config file.  Let me know if it works for you now.

I get the same errors, but I'm patient and just keep refreshing until it lets me in.  I think the staging site is consuming the memory.

Try going to my active site and checking the plugin.  I'm in the process of a complete redesign of the site, so maybe my work around is to wait until I go live with the new site and work from that.  Seems like the memory issues are not a factor on the live site.

But here's my question.  I was able to load the episodes, but how do I create different playlists to insert into different players?

Here's the URL for the site.  Same ID and PW

Yes you will be able to load the episodes, have you tried it ? what does not work?

I think I figured it out.  I found where to create the playlists, so my key question is resolved.  I'm good for now.  I'm sure I'll have some questions once I create the filterable player, but I'm going to wait until I publish the update of the site.

Thanks for your help and your patience.
