I inserted a mp3 link into the playlist for the audio player to play which is a streamed mp3 link that is paired with virtual dj. This particular mp3 link doesn't play at all.
The last link that I sent is the same one that I used in the playlist for the audio player to play, but it hasn't worked at all for me. Even though the raw mp3 link played well in the Microsoft edge and Google chrome browser on someone's laptop near me.
What's weird is that I've always used that same exact link with other audio and radio players and they have worked... just not with live playback. I chose the Sonaar audio player because it has a dang near 5-star rating. I'll try changing the http link with https in front of it and see if that works.
Good night. I came back home and I noticed that the radio started playing. Thanks, but I was just changing some text around and redid the track 1 and I used the same link. Can you please check on the same link to make sure that it plays again please? The link is: https://64.66.14.75:8000/listen.mp3
By redid I mean that I moved track 1 and placed track 1 there again. Just to figure out which box do I have to enter in text for it to show how I want it to under the radio player.
If you are able to play a stream link directly with the native browser player (just by going to the stream link in your browser URL), then it will work.
If you cant play the stream through your browser URL, then it won't work.
Additionally, if you are loading the stream through a secure website, your stream must also be secured.
He also mentioned that broadcasting to a server like shoutcast or Icecast can solve the problem. So I have two more questions. Do you use Icecast or Shoutcast as a server on you backend? Second is... If you do, can I just send you the virtual dj link instead since your audio player supports audio playlist and have you embedd that link to your server to create a working https link?
What's crazy is that your radio player is the only one that I've used that's requesting that. I've used the http mp3 link on my https website before with other radio players and that haven't worked.

Hi,
What's the url of the mp3 that you have use?
Thanks,
Max from the Sonaar.io Crew
The url is http://64.14.66.75:8000/listen.mp3
A mistake has been made.
It is http://64.66.14.75:8000/listen.mp3

Can I get a response please?
Hi,
Your website is a secure website (https) and you are trying to load a non secure assets into it (http://64.66.14.75:8000/listen.mp3)
You cannot load non secure median into a secure website.
Make sure that the stream you use is secure and using https protocol.
Thanks,
Max from the Sonaar.io Crew
So all I have to do is put https:// in front of the link instead of http:// and it should work?

You might want to reach your stream provider and check with them to provide a secure stream.

You are using this link: https://64.66.14.75:8000/listen.mp3 but if you click on it, you will see that it does not work. Se screenshot: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/o1uJHi
Please check with your stream provider why

Can this player play virtual dj links?
The virtual dj link is playing, but when I get the mp3 link that is playing from it. That doesn't work? Why so?
If you are able to play a stream link directly with the native browser player (just by going to the stream link in your browser URL), then it will work.

So this link without the https://, but with http:// is working. This link is from virtual dj. What should I do with it?
Ask virtual DJ to provide a secure feed: https://64.66.14.75:8000/listen.mp3

In this forum RUNE (DJ-IN-NORWAY) mentions that Virtual Dj does allow secure site connections for their virtual dj links but the link coming from a personal PC doesn't offer a http connection.

I asked virtual dj to provide a secure feed already but they said that they just reported it.
Icecast and shoutcast are radio streaming provider.
Our player is just a streaming player. It will play any streaming URL.
If you website is https, your stream must be https as well.

Max from the Sonaar.io Crew
What's crazy is that your radio player is the only one that I've used that's requesting that. I've used the http mp3 link on my https website before with other radio players and that haven't worked.
Its a google chrome and modern browser security feature.
Thanks,

I understand.
