I really like the Sonaar MP3 player and I'm thinking about purchasing the pro version.  However what I am looking for is to be able to keep everything the way it is now with the free player, (in playlist form, boxed etc.) except ideally I'd like the viewer to be able to click some sort of button or one of those little triangle things and a page would open showing the lyrics.  Equally important they could click the button and close the lyrics page and continue to the next piece of music.  As opposed to having a link to a totally new page. Can the pro version do this?  And if so do you have to be advanced to set it up?

    Hi,

You can see an example of lyrics feature we have here: https://sonaar.io/mp3-audio-player-pro/music-player-for-wordpress/examples/#lyrics

we have 2 examples that can be customized visually in unlimited ways. You can keep the look of your current player and just add the button with the pro version.

So yes, the pro version can do this, and its easy to use.

    Thanks,

Thanks for taking the time to respond.  I like the one that has a button entitled lyrics.  So if I purchase the pro version will I have to start over creating new content on my website?  Or will the player, playlists etc. still carry over only with the addition of this new functionality?  In other words, can I add this functionality to my existing web pages or will I need to start over?  And finally... last question I promise... is there some sort of step by step guide to set up this button and the pop up window for lyrics?

    Thanks again

No, you will just have to edit your existing playlist, upload your lyrics file and add a button to open the lyrics. You don't have to start over. its very easy to do

Again thank you for response.  Is there some sort of step by step for how to do this... or a tutorial video?

So far ummm....not so good.... I purchased the one year subscription, I uploaded, installed, and activated the pro version.  Then I went to the front end of my website, and the player shows up, and the song titles are there, but they have black text and a black background, so essentially nothing shows.  When I click on the little arrow at the beginning of the song title it turns the color of the text to red.  Please help

  • Randy Calligan replied

I figured out how to change the font color to white so its back to where I started.  Whew.... so can you walk me though how to add the lyrics button thing?

You've been excellent at giving me information, much appreciate it.  Just in the last few minutes I figured out what the problem was.  In hindsight, this player is very easy to use especially compared to Elementor.  Once I figured out where to find what I was looking for everything began to quickly fall into place.  I like this player... it works great!!

I lied:) one more question...  Under the track title is "optional track information" where you can add a little blurb about the song.  I'd love to use this function except the font size is larger than the track title font, so it kind of looks absurd and messy.  I went into settings/widget player and found "tracklist description" I changed the font size several times and it did nothing.  Curiously I could change the font color, just not the size.  So I then tried to make the font bigger on the track title which didn't do anything either.  How do you change the font size?

On the second playlist down, I put in the word example under the song title

Your font size is set to 6

You must input the suffix px (for pixel) as well.

So make sure to replace 6 by 6px
