I am wondering if this is possible to add an argument in the cron import tutorial to specify an author. This could be done through pseudonym, email, ID or anything that would fit your code.
I believe that it would enable hosts/authors to update episode notes, cover and CTAs at will whenever an episode is imported and tagged as being created by them.
Unfortunately, as much as I would love to help you, this feature is not possible with Sonaar at the moment.
Will add it to our roadmap.
Also, I know that its not what you are looking for, but it worth to mention that we have a new feature (in version 4.5) that allows you to create a podcast player only by using RSS feeds, without having to import/create posts and having to create a cronjob to import them.
If you are using shortcode to add a player to your page, you can parse the attribute rss_feed="yourfeedurl.com/rss/"
We have not developed this feature at this time. The main reason is that you are the only one who requested this feature at this time so we keep developing our plugin based on the most wanted features asked by our users. Im so sorry.

Example:
[{"cat_id":"262","author_id":"12","feed_url":"https://yourpodcasthosting.com/rss.xml"}]
Thanks!

You can also create an episode posts, and choosing this option: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/PHBxQe

No problem Max, thanks.
I had very low hopes of this feature being forgotten in the tutorial. I'm glad you take it as a feature request and hope to see it come to fruition.
Let's consider this ticket closed.
Hi,
Any update on this feature? That would help a ton for a radio like us.
Thanks!
