Visitors have informed that our website is down.

    The plugin -

    mp3-music-player-by-sonaar

was updated (automatically?) on April 14 and now causes the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/aucourantr1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mp3-music-player-by-sonaar/admin/class-sonaar-music-admin.php on line 3637

Notice: Function is_embed was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in /home/aucourantr1/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5865

This has caused the site to not function at all.  We cannot login into the admin panel of the site either.

Please advise as to the resolution of this problem.

    Thank you.

    Hi Max,

    Thank you for your response.

The larger issue is that we cannot log into the site at all through the admin login to do the fix you outline.

What is the means to fix this under these circumstances?

    Thank you,

    Robert

    Hi,

you must deactivate MP3 Audio Player by Sonaar via FTP (just by renaming the plugin folder name), then you will be able to login into your wp-admin and update the plugin to latest version.

if you don't know how to do it, please provide me access to your FTP.

    Thanks,
