I noticed when I create a new page or post, as I have done here, there is a gap at the top of the page; Is there something I can adjust in your theme to fix this issue?
Ok, that worked, but now this page does not show the title https://closertovenus.com/transcripts/ and some of the posts are getting cut off despite having 100px of padding at bottom. The title is also not displayed. What am I doing wrong?
Atanas P.:" Yeah that appears to be some kind of conflict that is happening on the site itself You have an Elementor cache and also a WP fastest cache - that is likely somehow conflicting with the theme"
I flushed the dynamic and mem cache at Siteground for the 3rd time in the last 2 days, but there the Siteground techs told me there is a caching issue that a simple flush would not fix. Any idea what the problem is?
what does the this page look like on your end when you are in the admin panel? see attached; is this normal? I also cleared the cache constantly over the last few days, and it takes a long time to see the changes take place when viewing the page in an incognito window.
the last edit to he transcripts page was made 2 hours ago, yet I don't see the changes when viewing the page in incognito mode- and I flushed every cache possible- are you saying this is normal?
From Elementor Support:
Hi Johnny,
Thanks for getting in touch.
I've been checking the website and it seems like everything continues
Even when Elementor/Elementor Pro are deactivated, the cache continues generating the issue
I would ask you to disable all cache plugins and siteground cache
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Gabriel Corredor
What I always recommend when using a new WordPress theme is to develop the "new" website on a staging server with a fresh copy of WordPress. So start with a clean copy of WordPress, install the theme and its demo. By doing this, your existing website will continue to run, and you will have all the time you want to develop/design the new website on your staging server.
You could also export/import the old blog posts of your old website onto your new website by going to WP-Admin > Tools > Import/Export.
When you are ready to launch your new website, you will just have to point your domain name to the staging server so it becomes your new "live" server.
If the issue is due the Server Cache and the third-party plugin cache, which were deactivated days ago, is a fresh install of wordpress going to fix the problem?

Hi Johnny,

The cache issue is being related to the Server Cache and the third-party plugin cache, you will need to deactivate all cache on your website
This issue is outside of our support scope need to be handled by the cache plugin support and the hosting provider
Let me know if you need further assistance.
A fresh install of WordPress will perhaps resolve temporarily the issue, but as soon as you will reactivate those plugins, you might have the same issue..
I recommend to contact the third party plugin cache author and see with them why there plugin cause the cache issue.
after talking with Siteground, Elementor and the dev that helped with my site, the problem seems to be with your theme. After all plugins, including Siteground cache were disabled, the problem is still there. javascript transition may be causing the issue as the FAQ, Contact and oage 2 of Transcripts have to be refreshed to see the background colors/images.. is this something you can fix with an update?
all plugins have been deactivated days ago including the Siteground cache, How is the problem related to a plugin, when the problem remains after all have been deactivated?
The issue was related to Elementor's alpha feature called Lazy Load Background Image. I have deactivated it here https://drops.sonaar.io/i/qdLy2q and it works now.
you will notice the menu is not visible until you scroll or hover over the menu items- is there an easy fix for this?
https://closertovenus.com/episode/117-past-lives-channeling-and-a-vision-of-mary-magdalene-with-magdalena-jensen/
You can manage menu text colors for specific page by editing your page in Wordpress and see this screenshot https://drops.sonaar.io/i/d8FPFe

https://closertovenus.com/episode-120-nicki-ojeda-tarot-and-past-life-readings/
Usually, your other pages has a hero banner + the Header over content enabled: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/PFE3Jq
See example: https://closertovenus.com/faq/
I recommend you also set this for this new page and add section top padding to your content so the menu will be over the background image.

Hi max'
I am not seeing where I can make this adjustment " show header over content"
Edit your page with wordpress. It's on the right panel

ok, the menu colors were changed but the page title will only display when I am logged in to the admin : https://closertovenus.com/transcripts/
I checked with my host( Siteground):
Atanas P.:" Yeah that appears to be some kind of conflict that is happening on the site itself
You have an Elementor cache and also a WP fastest cache - that is likely somehow conflicting with the theme"

Could you please provide me access to your wp-admin and I will gladly check the issue you have.

What is the page URL that you have the issue with (page URL from your screenshot..)? You have a lot of page on your site and I cant locate it.
Thanks,
Max from the Sonaar.io Crew
https://closertovenus.com/transcripts/ page 2 ( next) also looks different than the first page of results
I have fixed the sticky player issue appearing on the archive page.
page 2 looks similar to page 1 to me. Send me screenshot to show me the difference you see.

there is quite a bit of white space a the top of the page when I am in the WP dashboard

is it possible to swiich to another Sonaar theme without the site “breaking “?
Hi,
you can only import 1 theme at a time.
What I always recommend when using a new WordPress theme is to develop the "new" website on a staging server with a fresh copy of WordPress. In most cases, the issue is related to one of the third-party plugins which are not compatible with AJAX page loading.
Please read this article on how to troubleshoot and workarounds.

all plugins have been deactivated days ago including the Siteground cache, How is the problem related to a plugin, when the problem remains after all have been deactivated?
Just to make sure we are on the same page. Could you please record a screen video to show me the issue you have?

here you go: https://www.loom.com/share/1f74c51c2ef84b1d8b219b98fcb7c2a6 as I mentioned in this video, the consensus opinion is that a fresh install of Wordpress is not going to fix the problem.

Ok, everything seems be loading correctly- thanks Max
