Visual buffering indicator when track loading

Hi there - if we have a long track, e.g. 1 hour, it can sometimes take a while to load. Is it possible to have a visual buffering indicator? Or make the cursor change or something to show people that it is loading? Otherwise they think that it is broken as the track doesn't play straight away and nothing visual changes so they think it isn't working.

    Thanks

    Julian

    Hi,

are you using  Dynamic Waveform (Slower) in this setting: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/VPDr9V ?

If so, its not recommended to use this with very long mp3 because the mp3 needs to be downloaded before generating the waveform. You should use Synthetic Waveform (faster) when using long files.

    Thanks,

No, we are using the "Very simple bar".

Where can I see an example of the slow loading track?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

I notice a 2 seconds delay before your streaming server loads the file.

Unfortunately, we don't have a visual loading indicator at this time. On my end, I tagged this ticket as a feature request so that our development team can consider this option.

I would like to apologize for not providing you with this particular feature at the moment.

    Thanks,

The time of the delay fluctuates and sometimes is substantially longer. But it will presumably be affected by the user's connection speed.

Thanks for adding it as a feature request.
