Good day, we have the Sonaar premium plugin installed on our website anjam.net and set up google analytics...Is there any way we can track downloads per user?
Hi Max, We can track the overall amount of downloads per track.... but can't see a particular user's downloads and we need to track each user on the site's activity individually.. For example John has downloaded trackX ten times and Susan has downloaded TrackZ 2 times
We cannot pass personally identifiable info on Google Analytics. For this, you will need to develop a custom script. You need to be cautious because of privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, etc. Passing personally identifiable information (PII) to Google Analytics is against Google's terms of service. This includes usernames if they could be used to identify a person.
If your usernames are anonymized or can't be used to identify individuals, then it would be acceptable. If you choose to proceed, you can pass the WordPress username as a custom dimension in your Google Analytics event in your custom script.

Hi,
yes, you can tracks play and downloads from Google Analytics. See documentation here: https://sonaar.io/docs/use-google-analytics-to-track-audio-player-statistics/

I recommend you hire a WP Developer for this
