Plugin updates:
Like any premium themes on the market, the premium plugins that come with the theme cannot be automatically updated and you don't have access to the plugin's author helpdesk. Every time a new version of the plugin is released, we (the theme author), need to carefully test the plugin and fix issues if any problem arises. Then, we release a theme update that will include the new version of the plugin. It's the way it works with every other themes that include these plugins. So the plugin included with the theme is the latest and tested compatible version with our theme.
Plugin activation & Licence keys:
Sometimes, a plugin may ask for a Licence Key to "activate" it. Well, you don't need a license key to activate or use the plugin! Licence Key is needed only to enable the automatic updates, access to premium support and some extra add-ons provided by the plugin's author.
If you are interested into automatic updates and premium support, we recommend that you buy a personal licence of the plugin on codecanyon.net
To diplay the length of the podcast episode you have to add this shortcode
[custom_get_track_duration id="4926"]
And use this html code for the listen button: <a href="javascript:IRON.sonaar.player.setPlayer({ id:'4926' })">
"4926" is an podcast episode id. You have to find a way to make this value dynamical. I not sure how to do this. Maybe you will need another plugin as wp-engine.
The easy way to do what you want is to keep using Essential Grid.
The way I have understand your request was more about how to insert the podcast lenght and the play button into the elementor post grid widget. Changing colors should not be so hard. Which color are you trying to change?
Each wordpress post have an ID, if we wanna display the lenght of an episode, we have to mention which episode we want to display its lenght. That is why the id is important. But we probably going to far. Our demo already has a podcast grid built with essential grid. I think it is easier to work with this grid. Maybe we can help you to do what you want with this grid.
I am attempting the essential grid color - the only place it seems I can change the background colour of each podcast episode is by going into your code to change it. Is there an easier way to do this? Also the play button colour
well this plugin comes with the theme so WHY is it not running on the latest version and why do I have to purchase it to do this?

Thanks Alexandre!
I created with the Elementor as I find the Essential Grid too great a learning curve for me with multiple deadlines.
I did not realise it would be so very complicated to change a few colours* and change the photos and other minor adaptations.
*I am used to creating global colors - not having three places to adjust colors
"4926" is an podcast episode id: what does this mean? does it apply to the podcast episodes as an entirety? or for only one episode?

Hi Dara,
The way to style an elementor grid is through its skin.
Go to wp-admin>essential grid
And click here on Edit Skin
From there you can style almost all elements.
If you want to style the listen button. Click on it and click on the STYLE tab
Thanks,

Those elements are part of the header.
Go to wp-admin>header & footer
And edit with elementor the header post
