Hi, I just purchased Sonaar business plan. I want to create a sortable music catalog on my website, but I don't want to sell my beats. The video tutorial I see online uses WooCommerce and ACF to create tags, etc. For someone not looking to sell music, do I need WooCommerce and ACF, I just want a page for all my beats and allow people to sort by duration, bmp, date; filter by mood and genre and also search. Is there a guide for this?

    Hi,

you dont need WooCommerce. Only ACF is needed to create the filters and custom fields. ACF will allow you to create  BPM, Mood and genre.

So if you look again at the video starting at 4:40, you will see how to setup ACF.

    Thanks,

ALright, I'll try now. Thank you!

I've created fields in ACF. In the video, you added the fields to the product in WooCommerce. How do I assign these fields to each track in my playlist?

In your acf group, select for which post type you want the custom field be available. in the video, we have set it for the product post type. But you can set it for the Playlist post type. see screenshot: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/badd7M

Thanks for your quick response. I see that if I set the post type to Playlist, I'll be able to add the fields to the playlists, not the tracks in the playlist. Does this mean I'll have to create a new playlist for each track?

Yes, one track per playlist. its the way to filter the items.
