Basic License Variation - Free Download

    Hi Max and Sonaar Team

I've enabled a free download for my beats with a tag for potential customers to sample the track.  I've created a variation of the basic license under the MP3 audio player (License and Contracts).  Would it be possible to allow this to also to be downloaded with the tagged mp3 beat or made available for the customer to view?

One more thing that I'm running into as a blocker.  When I add a beat to my cart and try to preview the license, I'm taken back to my beat store instead of viewing the license itself.  This is the first time I've tested this piece of functionality and from what I can tell I've binded each license attribute to the actual license type.  My goal was to initially offer the basic free download license along with the free beat but after testing of license types (basic, unlimited, exclusive, etc.), I experience the same issue.  I did notice that in Edge the license displays first, then redirects to the Beat Shop.  For Chrome, it just goes directly to the Beat Shop page.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi Billy,

When I go on this page https://brobproductions.com/cart/ and click Preview License, the license is showing AND is also redirecting to your music page so yes, I can replicate the issue. However, this does not happen on all our demos on our local server so I think the issue you are facing is related to an external code you have added on your site. Please make sure that the code you have added for the return to shop a couple days ago does not interfere with other buttons such as the license buttons.

Your Apply Code button also redirect people to your music page by the way. https://drops.sonaar.io/i/FyihAH

    For your other question:

Q: Would it be possible to allow this to also to be downloaded with the tagged mp3 beat or made available for the customer to view?
A: Its not possible to show it in the license popup im afraid.

    Thanks,

    Hi Max,

Thanks for looking into issue further.  I've removed the code (in the fuction.php file in the Sonaar child theme) that redirected the "return to cart" function.  However, it still takes me to my Beat Shop page when I try to Preview the license.  I wasn't aware of the Apply Code behavior but that is also still occurring as well.

Of note, with the code now removed, when I hit return to the cart, it takes me to a page that I don't use in my website.  It's not part of the theme that I'm using (Rebirth kit) but it's there for some reason (seen return to cart screenshot).  The previous developer that worked on my website did this work (may have merged them Sonaar with Rebirth) but is unfortunately no longer available so I'm trying to resolve issues myself.  I've spent a lot of hours with customization since he left the project.

Here's another observation.  When I add to my cart and attempt to checkout, I can actually preview the license successfully (see screenshot for Checkout - License Preview).  The font is hard to read (need to figure out those settings to fix) but it is visible.

I'm not sure if that helps or complicates things. Would be interested to know your thoughts/feedback.

    Thanks!

Sorry I dont know. You will need to check this directly with WooCommerce or Elementor support. You have the same behavior with our plugins and theme disabled (eg: The Apply Code Button is also redirecting to your music page), so its an issue with your current setup and WooCommerce.

    Thanks,

Thanks for reviewing, Max.  I have someone looking at WooCommerce and Elementor to try to find root cause.  I'll let you know what we find out.
