The issue I am regularly facing is - the player does not work on Safari browser (iOS) and frequent complaints from users of iPhone using Safari browser, that the player does not play anything when clicking on the play button.

Which iOS version are you using ?
If you deactivate Animated Audio Spectrum, do you have the same issue ?
