Hi!  I am almost finished building my site.   There is something I am trying to accomplish but can't seem to figure out how....

In the music player...I want to have a different album cover show up for the different tracks in a single playlist.

The playlists are examples of my work, and each song comes from a different album, with it's own cover.   So in the little player at the footer, I want the album cover graphic to be different for each song.

Is there any way to accomplish this result?  Perhaps from using the album cover graphics that are embedded inside the .mp3 file?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,
Unfortunately we cant select an artwork per track. We can only select an artwork per playlist post.
So my recommendation is to use one playlist post per track.

    Thanks,

Ok! Thank you so much.  You're a genius!   One last question if you'd be so kind.

I just played with it and it works.  I make a playlist for each track, then select all the playlists I want, then I insert them into music player, and it acts like 1 playlist.

Question is...When load the multiple playlists (with 1 track in each) in the "Edit Music Player" in the page design, it seems to force the playlists order into alphabetical order.  So...effectively I cannot choose the song list in the order that I want.  Is there any way around this?

    Thank you again.

Aram, I gathered tracks from various albums I have out, into one playlist, and the artwork for each individual album artwork shows when I play the track. Is that what you wanted to do?

  • Aram Mandossian replied

Yes it is!  Can you show me with a link?  Thanks!

This is just on a testing site, but, all I did was create a playlist, then every track, chose local mp3 as my source, then in the "optional track image" section, I uploaded the album cover from where that track came from. So, I have 13 tracks, all from various albums/singles, on one playlist, that show the album art to each track when played.

    Hope that's what you mean.

  • Aram Mandossian replied

Eughine, Thank you!  That is exactly what i mean, and what I need.  Except I haven't seen "optional track image" anywhere on my screen.   It's possible that it's a new feature?  and I haven't updated my sonaar and elementor in about a year.  If this works I will update it just for this, because it's really important to have this,   Thank you so much.

Ah, hopefully it's just the update that you need then dude, as yeah, I done the exact same thing as you want to do. Hope you get it sorted dude.

@Aram according to your account, you are using our theme only. What @Eughine uses is ourMP3 Audio Player Pro. The optional track image feature is only available with our MP3 Audio Player Pro plugin. its not available with the theme only.

    Thanks,

@Max Thank you for the information.  You saved me a bit of research time.   If I purchase the Pro Mp3 player, would it implement into my dashboard and be available for this site I am creating?  Thanks!  It's important to me and I want to have this feature for sure.

The MP3 Audio Player Pro's playlist will replace your theme's playlist. So the one you already built using the theme wont be used.

Thank you Max.  I will do it today.

    Max, sorry 1 last question...

That feature that I am after...To be able to insert "optional track image".  Will that be available in the starter package for the MP3 pro player for $49?
