There's a problem with the new iOS 17 that stops audio from playing when it uses WebAudioAPI (Animated Audio Spectrum).
To fix this temporarily, turn off the Animated Audio Spectrum feature. By doing this, the audio won't use Web Audio API, and it will play on iOS. We're keeping an eye on it, and we hope Apple will fix it in an upcoming update.
We have heard the issue is fixed on iOS 17.1 BETA2 but we have not tried it yet.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know - we figured it must be something with the new IOS as we had multiple people saying that their player works, but they are on IOS13. Android was also fine.
hi there
For some reason the audio is not playing anymore on iphones (any browser it seems)
Can you please check on this?

Many people talk about it on the web. eg: https://discourse.threejs.org/t/audiocontext-ios-17/56482/15
