My developer has notified me of a reset of my player logs on May 5, 2024, due to an issue with the plug-in. Is there a way to restore my songs that I have uplodaded or do I need to do it manually? It seems to have removed about 8 additional songs from https://maxministries.africa and https://maxministries.nyc please see attached
Restoring the plugin shouldn't erase the MP3s. If the files are in the media library, you can use a tool available in wp-admin > MP3 > Player > Tool to easily create posts with the help of these files.
But I must admit, I don't quite understand the situation here. Wouldn't it be simpler to restore a backup of the database? Your hosting provider can surely do that.
according to my developer and the server logs there was a plug in issue which removed many of my added songs and placed them out of order. Maybe it was a “bug” so just notifying you all.
Thank you for letting us know. If this happens to other clients, we'll know it's not the first time. For now, we hope it's an isolated incident. Were you able to restore a backup?
