I monitor my website every week to make sure my music players are operating and just noticed that the playlist titles are no longer displaying, but the track titles instead. Since I normally just check to see that the music is playing, I can't say for sure when this change occurred but it is site-wide, and may have happened with a version update.
I orginally set all of the players up myself, and named each playlist with a unique title, and the playlist names are still showing in the Audio Player settings, but not on the players. I have a jpeg that displays the name for each track along with a picture, and I need the Playlist name to remain intact as the tracks change. This is how it used to work. I thought I remebered a switch to enable/disable the Playlist title in the layout settings but can no longer find it. Please help, thanks.
There is indeed an update that we made which may have caused this issue. We have added several options to the titles. Edit any of your players. Click on the 'style' tab. Open the 'Mini Player: Titles & Metas' panel. There you will see the possibility to choose what you want to display as the title
Thanks for the reply. I'm still not seeing any settings pertaining to the Playlist Title under the Titles and Metas panel.
The Playlist Title is still showing under Content: Audio Player settings. Under Style/Mini Player: Titles & Metas there is a Meta drop-down set to Track Title that can be changed to various options, but none for Playlist Title. Other than that I see nothing else. Could you please elaborate? Thank you.
Yes, the custom title works. I'm glad the Playlist Title box in the Content section is still there, even though it no longer has any function. It's the only record I have of what the Playlist names were and made updating the players a lot easier. Thanks for your help.
