Hello, I am trying to use a translation plug-in (TranslatePress) but I see that it doesn't work with Ajax enabled. Does Polylang work? Is there any other free solution?
Hi, Polylang works with Ajax navigation, but TranslatePress might as well. If the issue only happens when clicking on the language switcher, this can likely be fixed easily.
Yes, the issue occurs when clicking the language switcher. It needs to be clicked twice for all the content to load properly — for example, the Slider Revolution plugin doesn't load on the first click — and also for the flag to update.
If I disable Ajax, the problem disappears, but I’d like to keep the ability to navigate the site without interrupting the audio player.
Could you point me toward a solution? I have a basic understanding of WordPress (I’m not a pro) and I’m building the site patiently, with the help of ChatGPT as well… :)
You need to add the CSS class no-ajax to the language selector. I’ll be able to guide you further if you share the site URL, or better yet, access to the wp-admin.
