How to show product name

I have the problem that the file name is displayed instead of the product name (beat). It is already disabled in the default settings, but it still displays the file name instead of the WooCommerce product name.

    How can I fix this?

    Hi,

We use the name set in your MEDIA Library. To change it, go to WP-Admin > Media > Library and edit the track title from there. see screenshot: https://drops.sonaar.io/i/iDG02c

Why are you making it so unnecessarily complicated? When creating a product, you usually think about what you really want to choose as the product name. The entire WooCommerce system works this way. Can't you make it a premium feature that allows users to choose in the settings whether they want to display the media name or the product name?

    Hi,

I totally understand your point. The reason we use the Media Library title instead of the WooCommerce product name is because it is much more flexible and scalable. Media Library uses the MP3 ID3 Tags. Many of our users have thousands of beats or tracks to import, and those files already come with proper ID3 tags set. By pulling directly from the file metadata, everything imports with the correct titles automatically, without having to rename each track manually in WooCommerce.

This approach also follows industry best practices. Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming platforms rely on the tags embedded in the MP3s. As long as your files are tagged correctly, you will always have consistent and accurate titles in your player.

That said, I do see the value in your suggestion. We will consider adding an option in the future to let users choose whether they want to display the product name instead of the media name.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, it helps us prioritize what matters most to users.

    Thanks,
