Kee, another problem. If want to upload an image, to put it on a podcast Episode page, I get error. See screenshot. This was not the case before the Mailchimp function was fixed. Do you have any idea what is going wrong with Sonaar Theme?
My first guess is something wrong with the file you are trying to import. Do you have the same issue with another file? If you go to wp-admin>media>add new, Are you able to import the wanted file?
No problem with the files. I have checked this. Also with other files the same error occur.
I can upload the fie with the media library and then there is no problem. So ( If you go to wp-admin>media>add new, Are you able to import the wanted file. ) Yes.
Other question: How can I change to position of the social share buttons to the middle of the page? See screenshot.
1. Please be more specific from where you are trying to import a new image? What I have to do to reproduce the issue?
2. You are talking about those buttons https://d.pr/i/IMkV6o ? You cant change theirs positions. To do that you have to customize the single-post.php file in the child theme folder. This is a bit beyond the scope of our support. For extra help you still can purchase our Website costumization Service.
Thanks fort your reply. It's I working now so no idea what was causing the problem. Other question. Is it possible to put an Instagram icon with the other share buttons? See screenshot.
Thanks for your reply. I made a header with navigation that is visible on desktop and Tablet. On the mobile device the header logo is visible but not the hamburger menu. How can this be solved so I can see the hamburger menu on my mobile divices?
Hi Esther, Weird bug here. I went to the responsive setting. I have set the menu nav to hide, and after I set it to unhide and it is now visible. But I recommend you to use the offcanvas element to built the responsve menu as we have done here https://demo.sonaar.io/streamking/ Here our documentation: https://sonaar.ticksy.com/article/16966/ Please let me know if you need our assistance
I will look into the mobile menu. It's a buggy theme so i seams : (
Other more current problem that needs a fix as soon as possible because the podcast is live now in my network. When I update a new mp3 podcast ( Willem Boterman ) I hear clicks and plops. This was not the case with the first mp3 podcast I uploaded. The first podcast sounds perfect with the website mp3 player.
The clicks and plops you hear is due to the mp3 encoding bitrate of the file and this may arise more if you use bluethooth headphone or speaker. That is because the mp3 is transmitted to the web browser then the web browser decode it and read it, then transmit it to the speaker. This takes resources and if MP3 has not the correct bitrate, ressource may not fit correctly in the transmission.
I recommend re-encoding the MP3 and try with a 320kbps. If it does not work, try with 128kbps.
Thank for your reply. We created two versions of the new podcast mp3 like you said. A 320kbps and a 128kbps both stereo and mono versions. We used both mono and stereo version and tested it... still the clicks and plops occur.
I'm checking the other mp3 podcast of November the 5th .. this podcast also has clicks and plops now! Very strange because this was not the case when I uploaded it on the the 5th of November? Has it something to do with a WordPress update?
Is it working with the MP3 I attach you here. (unzip the .zip file first)
This is not due to the WordPress update. We have more than 25 000 users and you are the only one who reported it. I'm 100% sure is due to the encoding of your MP3, or maybe the software you use.
When you test a new MP3, make sure to clear your browser cache, or use a new filename because the old mp3 file is stored in the browser cache.
Thanks for your reply. I put your mp3 on the website and the same clicks and plops occur. ( It is still online so you can check it ) I have disabled all plug-ins but that also has no effect. I have cleared my browser and deleted the cache... and hoped for a miracle... problem stays.
Strange thing is that all the podcasts have click and plops now.. Couple of weeks no problem and now.. : (
I have no idea why. Do you have any suggestions? It seems like it is not related to the mp3 but to the MP3 player in the website.
I have checked the podcast website mp3 on active speakers, Headphones with jack plugin, three mac laptop speakers and they all, including your mp3, give the same result.
We also checked BuzzSproud.com where I uploaded the exact same podcast file as in the www.studioplantaardig.nl website. There are no issues there when playing the mp3.
I m not sure to understand well what you want. You probably talking about the banner above the podcast player. You can set them in each single podcast episode banner setting see here. If you want to change the player style, you have to go to wp-admin>audio player and event settings>podcast player
HI,
I'm trying to set up mailchimp and I got the mailchimp API. It is very unclear how to do this. Can you help me?

There are no clicks and plops so the problem occurs with the website mp3 player. Hear; https://www.studioplantaardig.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/SP-E03-Willem-Boterman-UVA-Def2-Stereo.mp3

Check: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1869670/9556887
Did you check if the mp3 of the website is working fine without clicks and plops?
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the issue when I go to
http://www.studioplantaardig.nl/ and click play on the first player.
Perhaps it's an issue with your connection.
Thanks,
Max from the Sonaar.io Crew
I checked other browsers like Chrome and Safari. It seems to be only a problem with FireFox : (
So I let this one pass
Question; Where can I find the header with the player template? The one that's is used for the podcast episode post's.
Hi Esther,
I m not sure to understand well what you want.
You probably talking about the banner above the podcast player.
You can set them in each single podcast episode banner setting see here.
If you want to change the player style, you have to go to wp-admin>audio player and event settings>podcast player
